V.I.E. Spoilage project engineer, Near Hildesheim

Main tasks

Planning and putting into action a spoilage measurement tool at the complete production area with the aim to reduce considerably the attacking production spoilage for a long term.

• Participation on monthly meetings like CONQ (cost of non quality), TPM, Workorder Management and other European working groups.
• Preparation of analyses at all production machines.
• Execution of team meetings with respect to spoilage avoidance and planning of actions.
• Execution and evaluation of machine ability studies and internal audits.
• Checking and corrective actions of using the Barcoding System (Strobe).
• Continuous execution of SPC analyses for the determination of the Cp and CpK values and the support in processing of the corrective actions.
• Co-operation on the preservation and improvement of safety standards and environmental protection relevant prescriptions related to product quality, product hygiene-, industrial health and environmental protection so that all legal and customer-related requirements are succeeded.

Candidate Profile

Education:

• University Degree in the areas of Production and/or Quality Management, Engineering, Material Management or similar field of study and furthermore a Postgraduate Degree would be of advantage.
• Professional Experience would be prerequisite, maybe in the area of Production and/or Quality Management or similar areas

Foreign Languages:

• English and German --> good working knowledge

Software skills:

• Microsoft Office --> good working knowledge
• JDEdwards -- > basic knowledge would be of advantage

Others:

• Team-working competence, good communication skills and autonomous working and multidisciplinary thinking
