Technology Specialist : Industrial Automation & Robotics (m/f), Nantes

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Develop new tools to connect industrial means on Airbus Information System
• Prove business value of new technologies by establishing business case.
• Update the company guidelines and policies regarding the use of a specific technology or methodology.
• Drive the update of the learning framework based on the known technology.
• Advice and Support on specific topics related to the technology and/or methodology.
• Monitor technology and/or methodology trends and support the teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment.
• Guide and support the selection of the appropriate technologies and/or methodologies.

Outputs/deliverables:

• New industrial means developed and connected,
• Inform and Train end-users in the deployed means (in industrial domain and IoT)
• This role will involve some travel for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

As the successful candidate you are able to demonstrate some or all of the following skills and competencies:

• Significant experience in IT design & architecture
• Significant experience in IT design UI/UX and development for industry
• Experience in Agile methodology for Project Management
• Experience in Technology Trend Monitoring
• Excellent communication skills with ability to manage and influence stakeholders
• Pragmatic, Customer focused, Team Spirit, proactivity, curiosity, open mindedness
• Language Skills: negotiation level in French, advanced level of English
