Tasks
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the process improvement strategy aligned with AllianzGI’s business goals, focusing on process culture, workflow re-engineering, and documentation as a whole, with a particular emphasis on agentic AI readiness and orchestration, and a special focus on operations (incl. outsourced processes), to meet FTE/Cost reduction and scalability KPIs
- Team Lead: Manage and mentor the process improvement team, including other Business Process Architects and cross-functional contributors, ensuring high engagement and capability growth
- Drive business process assessments for identifying improvement opportunities and change implementations for AI and agentic automation
- Document (with metrics), understand, identify and analyse business processes requiring enhancement as part of the reviews
- Lead continuous improvement culture: design and execute Kaizen/Lean Six Sigma trainings as well as outside-the-box continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. gamification) to foster a mindset of ongoing enhancement and cross-functional collaboration across AllianzGI
- Own and promote the AllianzGI documentation framework including ongoing maintenance of Business Process Inventory (BPI).
- Represent AllianzGI in the market via Process / Automation events
- Coordinate and network within Allianz Group to ensure E2E Operational efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
Profile
- Master Black Belt (preferred), or Black Belt (minimum) in Lean Six Sigma. Other process methodologies certifications are a plus
- 10+ years previous experience in the process domain, ideally in Financial Services
- Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and find creative ways to approach challenges
- Strong change management experience
- Previous team management experience is plus
- Basic knowledge of financial instruments and the investment value chain in asset management
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field
- Master’s Degree is a plus
- Leadership and mentoring of team members
- Ability to think critically, ask good questions, and work autonomously
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Creative problem solving
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Power Point, TEAMS, Word)
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus
- Hands-on experience in applying AI/ML tools or agentic AI orchestration platforms
- Excellent communication
- Full fluency in English both spoken and written required, French or German are a plus
