Missions

In close collaboration with Human Resource, Financial Controlling and a network of Resource Managers deployed at N-1 and N-2 level, you will be accountable to:

Translate the Operations business strategy into a short, mid & long term Resource Strategy

  • Jointly with counterparts from Finance and Human Resource, coordinate the design of a quantitative and qualitative Operating Planning (OP) for resources in Operations, consistent with the financial OP and the Resource Review (RR): driving the alignment with the business strategy and needs; co-leading the OP/Resource Review kick off organisation; securing a common understanding of applicable definitions, framing guidelines, timeline...; leading the OP/RR preparation phase, making sure that the right inputs will be available along the pre-set timeline and consolidating a global picture at Operations level; coordinating the central multi-functional team activities during the OP/RR phase; contributing to the communication of targets, transversal actions and OP/RR outputs
  • Define scenarios and assess their impact on Resources, designing or using (as relevant) high level resource models for blue and white collars
  • Organise regular central Resource mgt meetings (at Senior management level) and prepare the relevant inputs to support decision-making
  • Support local Resource multi-functional teams throughout the year to monitor the implementation of validated resource plans aligned with the business strategy and needs. Taking into account “make or buy” targets, current and anticipated levels of workload & workforce, support them in ensuring that flexibility targets & BC/WC ratios will be met, critical/emerging jobs will be sourced, staffed and developed etc
  • In case of deviation from the validated resource plan, support local teams in designing the appropriate mitigation plans
  • Secure the adaptation and deployment of the corporate Workforce Planning platform (“Adaptive Planning”) across Operations, using pilots outcomes and lessons learned to make sure Operations needs are taken into account by Human Resource functions
  • Contribute to corporate, business and/or programme-driven resource Management projects
  • Animate the Resource managers network and, as Resource management subject matter expert for Operations, coach and guide key Resource focal points
  • Contribute to the Industrial Academy activities in terms of learning needs anticipation and priorities setting sharing the relevant resource inputs
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives as representative of Operations in the Process Mgt Team (led by HR) and relevant bodies and perform benchmarking activities within Airbus with other Functions and with external companies

Profile

  • Resource management and scenarios building/planning
  • Industrial awareness: good working knowledge of the Plants/FALs & VSM along with an understanding of the Industrial strategy
  • Awareness of the relevant Financial processes (in particular AOP) and HR processes (e.g. Workforce planning, Resource Review, Competence management)
  • Stakeholder management
  • Communicating and influencing on all Management Levels
  • Driving improvement & innovation
  • Data analytics to support decision-making
  • Project Management skills (LBIP / Agile)
  • English: fluent, French and German are considered as a plus
  • Proficient GoogleSheets and excel skills
