Finance Manager - Digital marketing - German / English (m/f/d), Düsseldorf / Essen

Key responsibilities - What we expect from you

As part of the management committee and in charge of the finance activities of the site, you will manage the small local finance team, implement new control measures and contribute to group-wide finance projects.

• Represent the finance department to internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare annual business plan, budget and quarterly forecast
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators
• Continuously improve financial operations and processes
• Establish local income tax accounts and global tax accounting processes
• Consolidate results for FR GAAP and management reporting purposes
• Forecast and follow-up of treasury
• Develop and implement reporting tools for business planning

Required experience and background

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, controlling or audit
• 4-5 years of professional experience as financial controller, head of finance or auditor
• Proven knowledge of best practice accounting standards, tax principles, laws and regulations (HGB/ IFRS)
• Team leader with a sense of relationship and excellent communication skills
• Experience in business partnering with solid commercial acumen
• IT savvy, diligent, hands-on
• Fluent in German and English, French is a plus
