The main missions

  • Monitoring of worldwide market activities
  • Identifying and prioritizing opportunities for business development
  • Generating a full go-to-market strategy (incl. 1st target customers) and transferring it into an operational action plan
  • Defining a product selling strategy per customer (incl. USP messaging)
  • Executing the operational action plan per customer with both, ownership of customer interaction and coordination of the process in cooperation with internal stakeholders from other business fields
  • Progress tracking and reporting of go-to-market execution on global level
  • Setting up and maintaining organizational interfaces to other internal stakeholders
  • Defining standards for Business Development in Zero Emission Business Incubator, aligned with global Faurecia standards
  • Direct reporting line to the General Management


  • Engineering degree, business engineering or business degree
  • Busines Development Experience with technical innovations, ideally in the field of hydrogen, gas-, water-, oilor (green) energy supply
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, ability to isolate key drivers for product success (market, commercial, technical, strategic)
  • Strong communication, sales and team management skills, good ability to establish professional networks internally and on customer side
  • Ability to develop easy and understandable product sales pitches for complex products, incl. strong USP focus
  • Proactive, independent working style. Hands-on mentality and “getting-things-done” attitude
  • Language skills: English, German and ideally French
  • Mobility for international business travels for trade fairs, client visits and internal meetings
