Our client is an international company specialising in houseboat holidays. For the Dutch location in a recreational area near Amsterdam, we are looking for a:

Customer & Operations Manager - Boat Rental (w/m/x), Vinkeveen / Amsterdam

What will your role be

You will lead a team of permanent and seasonal staff and be responsible for the following tasks:

• Planning, controlling and monitoring of all the processes around boat rentals
• Contact person for customers during check-in and check-out as well as during the holiday
• Supervising reparation and maintenance of the fleet
• Communication with suppliers and spare parts procurement
• Responsible for the office and the base administration
• Optimisation of customer satisfaction
• Regular reporting to the Regional Management
• Willingness to work also on weekends and holidays

Your qualifications

• You have completed a commercial or technical education and have already worked in the tourism industry
• You are reliable, flexible and able to work under pressure
• Excellent PC skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, French would be a plus
• Enthusiasm for boats, a boating licence would be an advantage
