Analyst in charge of the qualitative supervision of alternative investment funds (m/f), Luxembourg

Mission

Within a specific division, whose dedicated mission is to carry out qualitative analyses of AIFs, SIFs and SICARs selected according to a risk-based approach, your responsibilities will include:

Role & responsibilities

  • evaluation and detailed analysis of identified risk areas
  • collection of the information and documents necessary for the analysis
  • drafting of detailed analyses and synthesis reports
  • formulation of risk mitigation measures
  • monitoring the implementation of risk mitigation measures
  • cooperating with the relevant departments of the CSSF's UCI Business Line
  • participation, where applicable, in interviews with representatives of the FIA/NFIA and/or managers of the FIAs concerned
  • participation, where applicable, in on-site inspections involving the entities analysed, as well as in the drafting of the inspection report

Your profile

  • University degree in economics, finance, management/administration or law (Bac +4 or Bac +5)
  • Solid knowledge of the field of Luxembourg UCIs, in particular alternative investment funds (e.g. legal and regulatory framework, set-up, investment policies, risk assets)
  • Several years of experience within an audit firm, law firm or in a similar field
  • Good written and spoken command of French and English. German and Luxembourgish are an asset
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good drafting and synthesis skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
