VIE Platform Buyer (H/F), Erlangen

The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Tasks

• You will be responsible for the platform's purchasing reporting
• You will monitor KPIS indicators
• You will create and monitor data base updates
• You will comply with V5000 requirements
• You will support the sourcing of development and acquisition projects

Profile

• You are graduated from a Master degree in Engineering or Commerce with a specialization in purchasing
• You already have experience in purchasing, industry (ideally in the automotive field)
• You have a fluent level of English (ideally you have a good command of German)
• You have a good command of Pack Office and Google Suite.
• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
