Your main missions

  • Plan and implement new products and/or changes to the manufacturing process
  • Provide manufacturing engineering support to production and quality
  • Review processes and procedures on an on-going basis for safety, quality and production efficiency
  • Participate in Hoshin and Continuous Improvement events as assigned
  • Develop plans in accordance with customer requirements using value analysis, and other techniques including PFMEA and control plans
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts of the company through value analysis, maintaining up to date knowledge of manufacturing/tooling techniques
  • Review all production methods for compliance to quality and safety standards and for improvement of product quality standards
  • Develop and implement manufacturing documentation and other operator instructions
  • Prepare documentation, checking equipment planning, designing for floor inspections

The mission will last 18 months (renewable once up to 24months).

Who are you

  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Fluent in English
  • German in basic as minimum
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making and communication skills
  • Must be capable of working with a wide variety of people from the shop floor to managers, vendors, suppliers and customers
  • Practical knowledge of quality, continuous improvement, and other analytical and action planning tools
  • Knowledgeable computer skills
