Tasks
- HIL Bench Creation & Commissioning: Designing, building, and commissioning HIL test benches utilizing real sensors, actuators, and domain controllers.
- Platform-Specific Integration: Focusing on the integration of ADAS, Hands-Free Driving, and Parking Visualization technologies, specifically tailored for the VW MQB Evo and MEB platforms.
- Test Automation: Developing and maintaining Python scripts to automate test cases, bench setups, and data logging.
- Technical Customer Alignment: Establishing an agreed requirement and expectation baseline for the related function(s) through close technical alignment with the customer.
- Product Maturity Reporting: Generating product maturity reports per software/system release based on the feature release plan and key customer milestones.
- HIL & In-Vehicle Testing: Evaluating and validating product maturity through virtual simulation on the established HIL test benches as well as hands-on, in-vehicle testing.
- Test Execution & Analysis: Executing system-level integration test cases for Hands-Free Driving and Parking Visualization, analyzing log files, and debugging hardware/software mismatches.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Working closely with software development, systems engineering, and validation teams to resolve defects and optimize system performance.
Profile
- HIL Bench Architecture: Extensive experience in building, configuring, and commissioning Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches (e.g., dSPACE, Vector, or similar simulation environments) for Domain Controllers.
- Targeted Platform Experience: Proven track record of working with VW MQB Evo and/or MEB electronic architectures and network topologies.Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of ADAS, Hands-Free Driving, and Parking/Visualization systems.
- Process Expertise: Very good knowledge of customer-specific tools, environments, and validation processes (specifically within the VW Group landscape).
- Systems Engineering Background: Proven experience in systems engineering, requirements engineering, and testing methodologies (including requirements analysis, test case writing, traceability concepts, and defect reporting).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex system behaviors and find effective solutions.
- Communication & Reporting: Exceptional communication, presentation, and reporting skills to effectively manage relationships with both customers and internal global teams.
- Hands-on Attitude: A strong drive for a hands-on approach, especially when working directly on test benches, commissioning hardware, or in-the-vehicle testing.
