Software Engineer (m/f), Marseille

Tasks & accountabilities

• You will join a development team whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Gather, analyse and extract requirements from stakeholder needs or function requirements
• Write software requirements in accordance with quality criteria, avoiding overand underspecification manage specificities of interface requirements
• Develop software design
• Perform the corresponding coding and integration activities
• Conduct the verification activities, prepare tests cases and procedures.

Required Skills

• One key criteria is that we are looking for team players, with the capacity and willingness to support any phase of the projects.
• You additionaly have the following skills and experience:
• Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in computer science, electronics or related discipline.
• 5+ years Experience in specification and/or development of Real Time Embedded Software
• Experience in embedded software development (language: C, Ada, ...)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Additional experience and knowledge, easing your integration in our department practices, would also be appreciated. This includes, for example:
• Familiarity with agile frameworks (e.g. SCRUM)
• Knowledge of Avionic Systems, including bus systems (e.g. ARINC429)
• Knowledge of IMA (Arinc 653) platforms
• Knowledge of Software Qualification/Certification Standards (e.g.
• DOD-STD-2167A, MIL-STD-498, IEEE 12207, DO178B/C)
• Capacity to write software scripts (python, shell, ...)
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Experience with Test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
