Senior Sales Manager - Stationary (f/m/d), Magdeburg

Missions

  • Represent HUG Engineer at customers and within the German environmental business community
  • Account Manager function for designated companies
  • Prepare and negotiate offers based upon proprietary design tools, consolidated costs sheet, budgetary estimations and corporate guidelines
  • Technical & Commercial pre clarification of project-related time schedules, engineering topics and contractual terms with all involved departments
  • Project & Customer Risk Management
  • Generate forecasts and work-in-progress accounts for the projects pipeline
  • Finalize frame agreements with key accounts
  • Market feedback to Product Management and Market Intelligence
  • Attend conference and exhibition for products related to area

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be :

  • Minimum Education Level: Higher Technical education (mechanical, chemical or automation engineering)
  • Nice to have: Commercial/business administration Qualification

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Sales in an industrial environment

Skills and competencies:

  • Knowledge of business practices, market dynamics and trends in the capital goods industry
  • Knowledge of contractual and legal aspects
  • Financial understanding
  • German native and English fluent
  • International minded
  • Negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Influencing & Management skills
  • Ability to travel in the DACH area up to 30% of time
  • Main workplace in Magdeburg (D)

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge about combustion engines and / or process engineering
