Task & accountabilities

• The main department 'Weapon System Rigs' in the centre of competence 'A/C Rigs, Benches & Simulation' at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching is responsible for all test facilities for Avionics, Flight Control and Hydraulics to qualify and certify the respective systems. We deliver everything from concept design, detailed design, development and qualification of test facilities up to in-service and operating. In addition we develop special Aircraft Ground Equipments (AGEs) and Rig Support Equipments. Our main customer aircraft programs are Eurofighter, Tornado, unmanned aircraft (EuroMALE, Zephyr HAPS, City Airbus).
• We currently have several open positions in the area of Systems Engineering/Development of Electronic Test Facilities for experienced electronic/electric system enginners/designers who are self-empowered, agile and eager to take responsibility in the new European MALE RPAS (EuroMALE) program and in our legacy programs. Required skills

You are our candidate if you have:

• An university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Probably an additional education as electronic technician
• System Engineering experience
• Knowhow and experience in the development of aviation systems and/or test facilities
• Practical experience in the performance of Validation, Verification and Qualification test within Avionics, Flight Control or General Systems of aircraft.
• Knowledge of Standards in the Aviation Industry, esp. concerning test assets (DO-178C, DO-330, ISO-9100, etc.)
• Practical knowhow with automation and interface components (e.g. Beckhoff)
• Superior analytical and troubleshooting skills
• The reliability and devotion for working in a team environment
• Excellent computer skills, not only with standard windows but also with development tools, preferably Dassault 3DExperience tool suite
• Good communication skills in English language
• Other languages like German, French, Spanish and/or Italian would be a plus
