Tasks & accountabilities

  • You will manage, design, and implement automation projects with system elements such as lightweight positioner, lightweight end effector (driller, fastener, sealing/painting dispenser).
  • You will evaluate the performance of the according industrial system including serial reliability.
  • You will evaluate issues and propose actionable resolutions to solve complex engineering problems related to automation and machinery design.
  • You will evaluate potential engineering design solutions to engineering problems for feasibility, manufacturability, and costs.
  • You will develop and deliver first application while identifying in all plants network all applications to build up a bundle of systems to leverage CAPEX reduction and fast global implementation.
  • You will work with procurement to provide information that will aid from initial quoting process to industrialization and dissemination process.
  • You will monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with vendors or subcontractors.
  • You will build strong working relationships with local management and operations teams across.
  • This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

  • You have a degree in engineering, production engineering, information technology or similar.
  • You bring longstanding experience in in defining and industrial implementing of robotics systems.
  • You have a proven understanding of robotics measurement systems and controls and programming concepts.
  • You are used to handle and manage complex projects.
  • “Working in a team” is not only a buzz word for you.
  • Your language skills in German and English are at negotiation level.
