Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sets the initial Program Quality objectives (0 Km, Warranty and specific customer quality indicators), based on the key deliverables and ensure the realization.
  • Supports the program manager to prepare gate reviews, dashboard, PLR and functional milestones.
  • Assesses the relevant risks and trigger alert to the appropriate management level if necessary.
  • Ensures the use of the appropriate methods and quality standards (QSE, PMS, specific customer program development system, international regulations, etc).
  • Leads the relation with Customer Program Quality.
  • Has the authority to stop any process or product delivery in case of serious non conformance (customer expectations or safety and regulations issues…).
  • Manages the quality objectives including Safety & Regulation, Environmental – such as the PPM, scrap, including perceived quality and cascade them to the internal and external suppliers.
  • Monitors the objectives achievement through a risk assessment follow up based on FMEA, KPC/KCC, capabilities, tolerance stacks, PPM, etc.
  • Verifies the Design Validation Plan according to the program milestones.
  • Checks the specification for measurements, checking and testing fixtures and gauges and ensure the integration into the calibration system.
  • Participates in the definition of the control plan for prototype-, pre-seriesand series phases.
  • Is responsible for conformity, perceived quality and traceability of any parts delivered to the customer all along the development phase until Gate 4.
  • Supports the Customer Relationship Engineer for the preparation of the PPAP files and the submission of the initial samples, including process validation audit.
  • Actively contributes to continuous improvement process in program and capitalization

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, or comparable degree
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in the Automotive Industry
  • In-depth knowledge of quality engineering techniques
  • Experienced in Program Management System
  • Customer relationship skills
  • Very good communication skills, leadership skills and interpersonal skills
  • International mindset
  • Minimum bi-lingual (German and English required)
