Job description

  • Responsible for the plasma segment within the Transfusion Medicine & Cell Therapies Division
  • Provide leadership in market analysis and execution of strategies to drive sales
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers and industry partners
  • Identify key segment value drivers, growth opportunities, product positioning & customer segmentation/targeting
  • Prepare annual sales & marketing plan
  • Optimize the value proposition of the plasma offering with customer oriented, value driven models
  • Lead the product launch execution including the development of brand positioning, pricing strategy, promotion plan and product forecasting
  • Develop content and collaborate with Learning & Development to insure effective and influential sales training, promotional tools and materials for each point in the customer journey
  • Prioritize accounts to determine coverage, assesses opportunity, increase utilization at current customers, and develop new business
  • Implement sales strategies to achieve quarterly sales quotas; track and analyze progress of identified targets through sales cycle
  • Maintain account/customer profiles and account plans for key accounts

Job requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree required ideally in Sales & Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years experience in transfusion/healthcare/pharmaceutical industry
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or sales management experience
  • Strategic thinking and ability to concisely translate complex scientific and clinical topics to a wide range of audiences to communicate benefits of offering relative to other options
  • Self-starter with creative problem solving and innovative mindset that consistently challenges the status quo
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as negotiation and presentation skills
  • High ethical standards, integrity and trust
  • Able to manage multiple complex projects with solid time management skills
  • Capacity to make key-decisions with limited manager oversight
  • Fluent in English (another EU language would be an advantage)
  • Flexible and willing to travel
