Main Responsibilities

Supervising and controlling the financial performance of the plant to ensure the Budget Objective (Net Income) will be provided by the plant , in line with local legal and commercial requirements . Provide early indication of financial risks and chances. Provide information of the real economic situation and optimizing the cost management.

Main Missions

• Establishing operational and strategic Budget (Plan XI ; Plan V) for the plant, comprising entire P&L and balance sheet as well as headcount, monthly reporting of financial data, analyzing deviations and proposals improvement measures
• Preparation of business plan for successor business in cooperation with Corporate and follow -up for Project reviews with GM ; Analysis the profitability of new investments / Capital expenditures
• Analysing costs and margins, analysis of labour expenses and fix cost deviations and definition of action plans to mitigate risk not to achieve the Budget
• Responsible for the application of Group financial accounting and reporting standards; Cost Center accounting
• Supervising of plant accountants to ensure Monthly Closing in line with Group Closing Calendar
• Responsible for maintaining all customer-pricing issues; Monthly reconciliation of Customer SBI with sales recognition / Reconciliation of Customer components prices with suppliers prices/ to ensure that customer retroactive price changes are applied at the suppliers side
• Set up of measures in coordination with other departments to improve profitability and to reduce work capital
• Additionally (Plant= international Legal entity): Dealing with all fiscal issues like tax declarations for VAT, customs duties; Income taxes, social charges etc), legal issues (company law, commerical law), auditors, banks for financing issues in close cooperation with Corporate CF/BA
• Implementation of Corporate CF/BA Standards into the plants processes
• Keeping contact to banks and financial entities for rates, discounts, commissions, leftovers

The ideal candidate will have

• Degree in Administration & Finance or Economy
• Preferably industry / client know-how (strategies, technologies, business perspectives)
• Fiscal organization, financial analysis, solid accounting knowledge, production and provision management, treasury and controlling; experience in IFRS / German GAAP (HGB)
• Computer skills: Financial accounting system (e. g. DCW); Hyperion S9 and MS Office
• Fluency in English and German
