Intern (m/f/d) at On-site Inspections of investment fund managers – AML/CFT (m/f/d), Luxembourg

Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) acts exclusively in the public interest. Our aim is to protect financial consumers and to promote fairness, transparency and security within the financial sector, one of the main pillars of the Luxembourg economy.

The CSSF is also distinguished by its strong involvement at European and international level. Our staff actively participate in working groups set up by international institutions and work closely with other European authorities, with the shared aim of promoting financial stability at European and international level.

Tasks

• Within a specialized team conducting on-site inspections of investment fund managers, you will participate in inspections related to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT).
• In this context, you will contribute to the inspection preparation, attend meetings with controlled entities, and document the results of the inspection work.

Profile

• Student in the final year of university studies leading to a Master 2 degree in economics, law, finance, management, etc.
• Strong interest in finance and audit and inspection techniques
• Excellent written and oral proficiency in French, English, German, and Luxembourgish
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong writing, analysis, synthesis, and communication skills
• Critical thinking, rigor, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
