Head of System Programmes EMEA&IA (m/f), Paris

Missions

Programme management :

• Delivering EMEA&IA System Programmes on time, on quality, on cost, and managing P&L of the activities (order of magnitude is ~100M€)
• Managing a team of about 30 programme managers and PMO (program management officers)
• To be the high level representative towards the French MoD for system programmes delivery, and in support of Sales and Business Development
• To ensure a fruitful relationship with the key French and abroad industrial partners leading to an efficient industrial collaboration.
• Developing and maintaining high level relationships with customer to ensure that current and future needs are met

Business growth:

• Supporting Sales and Business development with the aim to grow the business
• Actively take part in developing new areas of business and succeed in winning profitable projects
• Actively take part in elaborating the secure communications strategy and implementation esp. in the area of responsibility
• This role will involve some travel for business in Europe & worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Profile

• Educated to an Engineering Degree (or equivalent) Business Administration
• More than 5 year experience successful experience in international medium/large-size programme management and in complex project industrial set-up
• Experience in Multi-disciplinary Team management
• Broad customer/partners networking capabilities especially with the French MoD
• Strong knowledge of Project management practices, methods and tools
• Telecom business background appreciated
• Experience in matrix organisation appreciated
• PMI or equivalent certification appreciated
• Strong leadership, and good relationship and communication skills
• Strong customer orientation and customer intimacy
• Negotiation level of English & French
