Tasks & accountabilities

What you will be doing:

• You will directly contribute to the vision of Airbus to completely digitalize the system installation process
• You primarily will work on the transfer of current electrical installation requirements, processes and workflows into a digital environment
• You elaborate digital solutions for system changes to increase efficiency during its electrical development process
• You also will work on a requirement management for modern electrical installation based on digital means
• To validate you perform design studies, product testing of future electric tools and trade studies by concrete use cases

The main focus of your new challenge will be in future projects

The aim is to ensure a solid and automised installation process with the help of digital environment.

As a start you will gain experience across all Aircraft components (fuselage, wing, …) and will acquire a good overview of the Airbus engineering departments. You get knowledge in the non-specific design architecture and design optimization, focused on electric installation. This includes daily operational tasks linked to Single Aisle and A350 program to understand aeronautics state-of-the-art such as assess design principles and judge nonconformities to definition.

What you need to bring with?

• You studied electrical engineering, computer science or similar
• You gained several years of vast experience in integrating electric system into transportation vehicles (aircraft, automotive, railway,..) with focus on method and tools linked to design and harness manufacturing process.
• You extensively use state of the art tools like Mentor CapitalⓇ and / or 3DEXPERIENCEⓇ platform
• Ideally you already have knowledge in mapping functional electric data to physical and manufacturing information
• You have profound knowledge and experience of these state-of-the art tools and the electrical design processes in the industry you are working.
• You have the ability to listen, understand and communicate information to different kind of stakeholders
• You have a strong interest in developing yourself and desire to work in an open and trusting environment
• You have a negotiation level of English
