Metabolism expert and Human Exposure Risk Assessor (m/f/d), Lyon

Tasks

• You will be responsible for new registrations or maintenance of existing registrations of plant protection substances regarding metabolism (Preparation of registration dossiers and position papers according to European regulations)
• You will be tasked with developing appropriate regulatory strategies in metabolism for new and existing plant protection active substances and products. You will be communicating with authorities on the registrations under your responsibility.
• You will develop a sound awareness of international regulatory guidelines and requirements. You will closely follow new developments and policies.
• You will work in a team of dietary and occupational & residential safety experts and the role might extend to residue, global trade or non-dietary safety assessments.
• You will contribute to interdisciplinary projects and will be fully accountable for your expertise in addressing a wide range of internal topics to effectively achieve solutions.
• You will collaborate with regional risk assessment experts to ensure worldwide alignment of registration strategies and initiatives within your area of expertise

Profile

• You have a PhD in Chemistry or a related relevant area or adequate professional experience.
  
• You have experience in the field of pesticide or drug metabolism. Education or experience in agronomy is a plus.
• You are skilled in evaluating and analyzing large amounts of information with a digital mindset.
• You have the ability to report and share information with fixed deadlines.
• You bring the competency to develop own solutions to solve problems and implement priorities
• You have the capacity to collaborate and communicate with various international stakeholders within the organization
• You have a passion to develop innovative ideas and creative concepts in a team.
• You have working experience in a regulatory environment and are aware of corresponding regulatory guidelines
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
