Your missions & responsabilites

  • Identifies communication needs and develops the division's external and internal communications strategy and action plan, in line with the overall strategy and appropriate needs of countries.
  • Is the main relay to themedia and external stakeholders for any issues related to the activities of the division as well as the cross-cutting topics of the group. In this role, he is also responsible for managing all issues and communications related to the crisis through solid preparation, the definition of actions and also coaching and training of the general management as well as the spokespersons of the division in their roles as spokespersons for the company.
  • Is responsible for Division-related content, regardless of the channels used to amplify them (social networks, internal, media,...).
  • Is the main interface of the COM team in the CS global division.
  • Provides strategic/tactical advice to the division's management. The Crop Science Division in France includes business as well as a dozen production and research and development sites (plant health products and seeds).
  • Accompanying organizational and cultural change by designing and implementing a plan and actions to communicate change.
  • Contributes to cross-cutting activities such as branch communication, Bayer reputation management, branding and employee initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master degree or higher in Communication, Public Affairs, Marketing, Business Administration or Science with 5-10 years of relevant experience in Communication with an affinity to the life science sector and solid business understanding.
  • Business Acumen.
  • Strong understanding of the local and global agricultural markets.
  • International work experience in Corporate Communications and proven track-record in managing communications strategies, projects and campaigns.
  • Senior attitude, adept in leading diverse project teams in a complex matrix organization and building relationships across stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with excellent networking abilities .
  • Ability to work under pressure and results-driven working style.
  • Strong project and time management skills .
  • Native-level command of French and fluent command of English language coupled with excellent editorial skills (written and spoken).
