Tasks

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Core and supplementary works

  • Coordination and implementation of financial targets with those responsible for the budget.
  • Analyzing financial and economic key figures and data (actuals, forecast and planning).
  • Coordinating and controlling e.g. planning activities, monthly reports or forecast statements.
  • Initiation and implementation of measures to achieve objectives.
  • Execution of calculations and profitability calculations.
  • Presentation of work results (e.g. planning results, monthly reports).
  • Review and release of orders (e.g. external services or investments).

Work object

  • Periodic planning (function or program related).
  • Data in particular from SAP, e.g. actual or plan data or forecast statements.
  • Company goals (e.g. returns or EBIT).

Work results

  • Budget agreements (e.g. agreement letter).
  • Economic & financial key figures and data.
  • Reports (e.g. plan/actual comparison incl. forecast statements or profit and loss account).
  • Planning/detail premises and guidelines.
  • Budget planning (operative 3-year planning as well as detailed 1-year planning).

This role will involve some travel for business (2-3 times a year) in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • University degree in Business Administration or Finance/Controlling.
  • Appropriate professional experience in Finance.
  • Presentation skills and ability to convince.
  • Ability to set up summaries/dashboards for finance and business stakeholders in Powerpoint and Excel (advanced Excel skills).
  • Ability to work in transnational teams.
  • Language Skills: Negotiation level of English and advanced knowledge of German; French as a plus.
