Missions

  • Support Senior Bankers and Relationship Managers in managing existing client relationships and leverage on our wide-ranging product offering to find new business opportunities
  • In conjunction with various product groups (Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Global Markets, etc.), co-development of financial, industry, and comparable transaction analysis for tailored client presentation and pitches
  • Responsible for strategic business reviews and client updates; preparation and contribution to client meetings and métier calls;
  • Creating concise and detailed credit analysis and lead the subsequent internal credit approval process for complex client transactions and annual reviews
  • Staying up to date with recent market and industry trends, responsible for evaluating public filings, research reports, financial projections, and business plans to produce strategic and financial analyses
  • Interact with our global network of product experts and local contributors to coordinate the execution of new deals
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the reporting tools and databases for revenues, deals, and risk metrics
  • Managing internal processes including budgeting, KYC, fund flows, and the booking of credit facilities
  • Consistently and comprehensively enfore BNP Paribas' CSR policies and procedures

Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or comparable academic education with advanced knowledge of financial analysis
  • Prior experience (internships, trainee-program) in Corporateor Investment banking
  • Ability to define and analyze risk levels of companies and transactions
  • Work transversally across the organization and maintain high standards of professionalism in all dealings with team members and external clients
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, ability to express ideas concisely and a proactive approach to work
  • Team player deal firmly but tactfully with other business areas
  • Knowledge of risks and their major processes or regulatory frameworks
  • Willing and able to improve detailed knowledge of product range
  • Fluency in German and English
