Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters in Donauwoerth is looking for a Works Doctor (m/f)within the area “Human Resources/ HR Central Funct & Arbeitsdirektor” for the department “EHFM- Occupational Medicine Germany”.

Tasks & accountabilities

  • Taking over tasks according to ASiG (German Occupational Safety Act) §3
  • Providing advice and supporting occupational health management (OHM) and the workplace health promotion, gradually
  • Being in charge of reintegration and integration management
  • Being responsible for collective threat prevention through workplace analyses, and the application of established investigation techniques
  • Carrying out individual risk assessment e.g. through biomonitoring and worst-case analyses
  • Being in charge of emergency medical care with company emergency vehicles
  • Being in charge of travel medicine prevention for teams active internationally
  • Being responsible for personnel management for a team of 5 employees
  • Coordinating and representing transnational employers.

Required skills

  • You have successfully completed a PhD, specialising in occupational medicine
  • You have several years of experience in the management of a team
  • You have qualifications in emergency medicine (emergency medicine sub-speciality or specialist knowledge of rescue service)
  • You have sound knowledge of ergonomics
  • You have psychosomatics skills (PSR)
  • You have knowledge of the diagnostics of pneumoconiosis
  • You have an understanding of complex technical and chemical processes
  • Competence in flight medicine would be a plus
  • Being service-oriented, committed to continuous improvement and a keen sense of responsibility are required for this position.
  • You are fluent in German and English
  • This position is offered under a local contract.
