V.I.E. Project manager mobile services, Cologne

Tasks

You are responsible for providing overall project management and successful mobile solutions project deliverables for our clients in Germany and Central Europe.

This key position will be integrated locally in the technical team and will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager based in Cologne. In a fast-paced and very demanding environment, your main tasks will be:

Presales:

• Supporting sales account managers in negotiating deals
• Answering to RFI/RFPs
• Supervising / defining functional and technical specifications with customers
• Participating in customer presentations and meetings

Project management:

• Managing projects through the entire life cycle in respect of cost, time, and quality requirements
• Monitoring and securing project delivery; following-up of production issues
• Defining and following-up agreed action plan with
• to achieve project goals
• Ensuring customer technical account management
• Permanent collaboration with marketing and sales teams for coverage of deals and customer needs
• Managing answers to customer's technical questions by using internal resources, processes and tools
• Ensuring project documentation

Profile

• Strong technical background in telecoms, computer science or related fields.
• Business experience is a must: 2 years in project management and/or technical account management, preferably in the mobile industry.
• Both technical and sales-oriented to conduct customer relations during presales and delivery phases of a project, and have the ability to manage complex issues in an international environment.
• Oral and written fluency in German and English as well as excellent communication skills are needed.
• Results-oriented, ability to work in autonomy, use own initiative, and willing to work in a dynamic structure
• Demonstrated capacity to handle remote project management with teams working in different countries.
