Missions

Global Technology and Standard (GTS) have the following missions and objectives :

  • Define standards and development guidelines of FIS technology and product solutions
  • Ensure their implementation in programs and plants and support engineering program team
  • Develop and coordinate a global network of “hands-on” people to ensure knowledge building and transfer within Faurecia and customers
  • One of the biggest concerns with welding thermoplastic materials by ultrasonic process is the overheating of the ultrasonic welding horn (Sonotrode) which limits the total welding time.

Cooling concepts for Sonotrode :

  • Heat pipe concept
  • Integrated vortex
  • External liquid cooling
  • Internal air cooling
  • External cooling
  • Material used for Sonotrods
  • Influence of using different
  • Generator
  • Power
  • Process regulation
  • Amplitude regulation
  • According to those concepts, the task is to follow and validate those different methodic and defined them as core concept including guidelines and standards.

Profile

  • Graduation from an engineering school specialization in Materials/Mechanics
  • English is mandatory, German would be a plus
  • Proficiency in standard office tools
  • Knowledge in programming language as ABB and/or FANUC is a plus
  • Self-starter with good organizational skills
  • Analytic skills
  • First experience with thermodynamics welding field would be a plus
  • Ability to travel (up to 20%)
