Purpose of the job

  • grow Social Business and Collaboration within BT
  • contribute to Executive Communications as French native speaker

Key responsibilities and challenges

  • Understand the values of social business and communicate to key stakeholders the purpose of having a new way of collaborating
  • Develop the use cases within the social enterprise collaboration platform; help Regions across BT to effectively use social tools and practices; mapping of capabilities and talent gaps
  • Oversees content programing and maintenance; identification and mitigation of risks; issue tracking
  • Development and execution of communication plan for social business across BT; thought leadership on social business and collaboration; hands-on consulting for Regions, functions and use cases
  • Contribution to Executive Communications as French native speaker

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications & Functional Knowledge
  • understanding of Enterprise 2.0 and Web 2.0 tools and their value for business
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Media Communications and Collaboration or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the field
Knowledge of the Business
  • general knowledge of and strong interest in the transportation business
Leadership - Management or Technical
  • strong technical skills in terms of social business and intranet platforms
Problem Solving
  • can-do attitude, self-starter, energy and drive, solution oriented
Area & Nature of Impact
  • social business as the next step of collaboration and one aspect of the new way of working within OneBT
Interpersonal & Communication Skills
  • good networking skills and ability to establish strong working relationships
Additional information and elements to consider
  • able to handle additional responsibilities and ad-hoc requests; ability to meet deadlines
  • French native speaker, fluency in English
