Tasks & accountabilities

• Requirements Engineering, Design, Coding, and Testing following ECSS-E-40B
• Consulting and supporting the system engineering team from the software developer side
• Integration on target hardware
• This role will involve some travel for business once per month in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly
• This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

• Educated to degree level (Diploma, Master, PhD) in computer science, electronics, airand spacecraft engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience on real-time operating system like VxWorks, RTEMS or PikeOS on ERC32, SPARC and PPC
• Experience in hypervisor based Time Spaced Partitioned (TSP) systems
• Experience with high and low level programming (C, C++,ADA, Assembler )
• Procedural and object-oriented programming languages
• Design methods preferable SysML / UML (Model Based System Engineering)
• Using of Configuration Management (CM) tools like Perforce, ClearCase
• Team Leading (SW)
• Team Building
• SCRUM / Agile „Management"
• Open minded and active to communicate with other engineers even of other disciplines
• Open for new tools and processes
• Language Skills: German and English on negotiation level , French is a plus
