Your main tasks and responsibilities

• Lead state-of-the-art research projects into cyber security topics of interest to support the business
• Develop prototype solutions
• Support the industrialization of solutions
• Provide expert services (senior consultancy) to the internal business as required
• Undertake technical scouting missions (product evaluations and benchmarking)
• Develop and present new technology concepts
• Advise on evolving and emerging threats & risks
• Publish academic articles, technical reports, and white papers
• Present at Global conferences and events
• As a senior researcher you will be expected to build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders at many levels, across the Airbus business divisions. These essential relationships drive the research agenda, and ensure the team addresses the pain points of the business.

Your role will involve travel for business so you will be asked to travel accordingly. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for our success, reputation and sustainable growth.

About you

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Senior technical specialist in one or more areas of cyber security;
• Security Architecture
• Cyber Forensics & Incident Response
• Industrial Control System Cyber Security
• Penetration Testing & Audit
• Cloud security
• Cryptography
• Security Monitoring
• SOC
• Cyber security experience in relevant cyber security specialist area
• Degree (PhD or research experience desired), Professional Training or equivalent experience in relevant cyber security related subject
• Experience of research, innovation, and solutions development
• Experience with managing and delivering cyber security programs
• Excellent report writing
• Experience with bid/proposal writing and publication track record is an advantage
• Experience of patent applications and intellectual property management is an advantage.
• English fluent.
