Our partner BDStar is the first listed company in China's satellite navigation industry. The company provides excellent navigation and positioning products, solutions and services around the World.

For the headquarter of the European Branch of our Partner BDStar we are looking for an Expert Sales Manager. As part of the global strategic marketing and sales team you will drive an innovative business, marketing and sales business to continue their growth path in Europe.

Today, BDStar (founded in 2000) had become a global group company in navigation industry, with a total asset of over 6 billion RMB and more than 4,000 employees. The subsidiaries extend from China to North America and Europe.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the European sales activities while you develop and implement a marketing strategy. Your main tasks are:

  • Organize and coordinate product line resources
  • Promote the sale of shelf products and search and gather projects information according to products and scheme of group company
  • Develop and manage distributors and end customers relationships, parallel contributing to the optimization of the channel strategy and structure
  • Collaboration with the BDStar technical support team to drive and support the product roadmap of desired products
  • Attend exhibitions, workshops, trade-shows and customer events to develop and communicate the value proposition and brand message
  • Actively search and establish strategic partnerships, and push on strategic cooperation project

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor degree or above in Geomatics, Navigation, Electronics and relevant majors, and MBA preferred
  • You have several years of professional experience in satellite navigation or related industry experience
  • You have provable successful marketing or sales experience
  • You bring a strong understanding and knowledge of GNSS basics and high accuracy GNSS corrections and positioning technology
  • You have a structured, independent way of working paired with good troubleshooting and great communication skills
  • You are ready to independently develop solutions and think out of the box
  • You are willing to travel occasionally (around 25% of the time)
  • You have fluent English skills and additionally one of the following language skills: German, Chinese, French or Spanish
