Missions

Give scientific support on topics within area of expertise & Participate and support interdisciplinary research projects.

  • Develop physiologically-based kinetic/dynamic (PBK/D) models to characterize the dose-response curves in several organs of interest within the context of adverse outcome pathways (AOPs) in mammals
  • Refine the model in close collaboration with study directors and project team members by providing input for several experimental aspects such as :in vitro and/or in vivo study designs, safety endpoints, required model parameters, and timepoints measurements
  • Investigate interspecies differences
  • Derive quantitative in vitro-to-in vivo extrapolations (qIVIVE)
  • Collaborate and interact with an international interdisciplinary project team
  • Review appropriate literature pertaining to research project
  • Present and communicate study findings, results, analyses, and future direction to project partners
  • Collaborate in the preparation of materials for presentation and publications

Profile

  • MSc, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent in pharmacometrics, pharmaceutical sciences, mathematics, or another relevant Life Science discipline.
  • Strong expertise in modeling and simulation : physiologically-based kinetic/dynamic (PBK/D) modeling required, and mechanistic TK/TD modeling would be a plus
  • Broad understanding of physiology, biology, toxicology, and statistics.
  • Proficiency with PK-Sim® and R required, experience with other M&S software would be a plus.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; influencing and problem solving
  • Ability to work in teams across multiple regions (cultural awareness) and to work autonomously.
