Junior Developer (m/f/n), Luxembourg

Creos Luxembourg S.A. is the operator of electricity and natural gas networks in Luxembourg. Nearly 900 employees currently serve the company.

Creos is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of high, medium, and low voltage electricity networks, as well as high, medium, and low pressure natural gas pipelines that it owns or has been entrusted to manage. The networks managed by Creos include more than 12,000 km of electricity lines and approximately 2,200 km of natural gas pipelines, serving over 317,000 electricity customers and around 50,000 natural gas customers.

Your tasks

• Within the Data Platform Services department, you participate in the development of application in different Business and IT Projects
• Develop new applications or modify existing ones based on the application SDLC
• You are working closely together with the frontend developer for API integration
• You ensure the compliance with governance and security rules like access and authorisations
• Manage the development, design, technology integration, and coordinate activities with the architecture team
• Build unit tests to guarantee developments to make continuous integration possible
• Create and maintain documentation around processes and workflows

Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification in IT application design and development
• Highly analytical mindset, combined with an autonomous and organized work attitude
• Team oriented player and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Competencies in developing robust backend applications with service exposure to cloud and on-premises applications
• You are able to interact with the business to understand requirements
• You are familiar with DevOps procedures and deployment on Kubernetes
• You are specialized in technologies around Java and Spring / Spring Boot
• You are familiar with JavaScript, Typescript, Python, SQL, Kafka
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
