Creos Luxembourg S.A. is the operator of electricity and natural gas networks in Luxembourg. Nearly 900 employees currently serve the company.

Creos is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of high, medium, and low voltage electricity networks, as well as high, medium, and low pressure natural gas pipelines that it owns or has been entrusted to manage. The networks managed by Creos include more than 12,000 km of electricity lines and approximately 2,200 km of natural gas pipelines, serving over 317,000 electricity customers and around 50,000 natural gas customers.

Your tasks

  • You develop architectural blueprints to offer solution designs based on gathered and analysed business requirements
  • You create functional and technical system designs and define software architectures in close collaboration with Enterprise Architects, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
  • You design initial data models and data flows to ensure IT Teams are capable to build reliable and future proof software processes.
  • You facilitate dialogue between various IT and Business stakeholders to align business needs with IT constraints.
  • You are an ambassador which drives the continuous improvement of our ways of working procedures ensuring best practices related to requirements gathering and documentation are applied across IT teams.
  • You ensure that defined IT solutions are aligned with strategy, governance, architecture, and security in mind based on the IT Management principles.
  • You define and implement application evolution roadmaps, improving IT solutions progressively in alignment with the defined reference architecture and stakeholder needs.
  • You provide functional and technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring the aligned architectural principles and solution designs are implemented effectively and efficiently.
  • You support change management efforts by providing training and documentation to end-users and technical teams in the context of transformative projects or complex procedural changes
  • You continuously assess and improve the solution architectures to adapt them to evolving business needs and technological advancements.

Your profile

  • You hold a master’s degree in information technology/ computer sciences or equivalent.
  • Proficient in designing complex architectures, including software, process and data components.
  • Strong knowledge of integration techniques and tools, ensuring seamless connectivity between various systems and platforms.
  • Expertise in designing data models, data flows, and ensuring data integrity and security across systems.
  • Knowledge of security standards, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance, by ensuring these comply to our policies and procedures.
  • Deep understanding of the Utilities industry including key trends, challenges, and regulatory landscape evolutions especially in the context of market and grid communication processes.
  • Proven expertise in architecting and implementing comprehensive SAP and non-SAP energy solutions that align with business objectives, streamline operations, and enable seamless integration across enterprise systems.
  • Experience in managing and balancing the needs of various stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
  • You have strong analytical skills with an autonomous, organized, and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • At least 5 years in a similar role, with experience in designing functional maps, application architecture, and evaluating IT solutions.
  • Proficient in English, with additional knowledge in German, French, and/or Luxembourgish being a plus
