IT Security Configuration Engineer (m/f), Paris

Main activities

• Get Security information from different stakeholders (Products Manager, Customers projects and SLC Security department, etc.)
• Define and set-up strategies inside the test platforms to fit the security rules got previously.
• Keep informed about the new rules during the System release lifecycle.
• On demand, Report on security configurations for operating systems, applications, and network and telecommunications equipment to different partner for some testbeds
• Make technology watch to provide the best solution to manage and deploy security inside the platforms.
• This role will involve punctual travel for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
• This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

• If you find yourself in this description...
• Educated to Master degree in Computer Science specialized in System or in Information Systems Security,
• Minimum of 3 years experience in OS update management

Operational skills:

• Very Good knowledge in Microsoft WSUS
• Very Good knowledge in RedHat Satellite
• Good knowledge in Antivirus management from centralized consoles (McAfee)
• Knowledge in CISCO (mandatory) and Stormshield (nice to have) firewalls
