Tasks

• Develop and optimize quantitative tools within the European High Yield and Total Return team
• Optimize and improve the existing market monitoring tool using Python and Power BI DAX
• Merge parts of the existing derivatives tool in the monitoring tool to implement the handling and the analysis of the derivatives universe and positions
• Build a historization architecture able to deal with a large amount of data
• Study the feasibility of changing the data sources feeding the tool to potentially implement the migration
• Work closely together with portfolio managers to find additional areas of improvement
• Work on the implementation of sustainability indicators
• Find and propose ideas to integrate AI functionalities in the tool
• Participate in other activities within the credit team mainly, but not only linked to market monitoring and analysis
• Working along with fundamental analysts to learn how to identify securities/issuers that may be of interest to the strategies managed by the team and be able to propose ideas.

Profile

• Ongoing studies in university or engineering school
• High interest in quantitative-related topics within the finance industry
• Good programming skills including Python, DAX, SQL and VBA
• Excellent Excel and Power BI skills
• Good analytical skills and research capabilities
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
