Missions
- Define boards specifications and specific components specifications (e.g. programmable devices like CPLD and FPGA)
- Define interfaces of the electrical or electronic systems
- Design electronic boards such as I/O interfaces and/or power supplies
- Produce system diagrams and/or circuit diagrams;
- Consider and design electrical safety guidelines.
- Perform detailed design in CAD implementation in accordance with engineering design rules
- Define test strategy and validate design
- Perform verifications (by simulation and/or by physical tests)
- Open the team competencies by specific work on R&T topics related to interfaces with the aircraft
- Provide expertise through assessments, investigations, reviews within its field of competence for our own developments, our internal manufacturing line and for the whole design community in AIRBUS.
Profile
- Chartered Engineer Power Electronic degree or equivalent
- Knowledge and/or experience in Power & Analogue Electronics such as:
- Circuit analysis (frequency response, loop analysis, worst-cases, margins)
- Efficiency, tolerance, regulation, and transient response concepts
- Working with op-amps (understanding the characteristics and limits of real devices, understanding analog filters
- Understanding the behavior of power switches (MOSFETs, including GaN & SiC), Losses calculation
- Knowledge of Control Systems. Closed loop operation.
- Design of feedback control, Magnetic Design (inductor, transformer..)
- Know-how on risk identification and mitigation
- Ability to work to strict timescales by contributing to On-time Delivering, Cost & Quality working as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team
- French and English skills, both verbal and written are essential
- Leadership, Autonomy, Communication skills

- Multidisciplinary mindset & curiosity. Business understanding
- Aptitude for Networking & Benchmarking.
