Tasks

  • Lead the global Invoicing, Collection & Recovery function, ensuring operational efficiency, quality, standardization, and harmonization across all geographies.
  • Oversee business partner invoicing activities, including invoice processing, collection management, cash allocation, accounting clearing, recovery management, and dispute resolution.
  • Manage commission calculation and payment processes for business partners.
  • Lead intercompany rebilling processes, including invoice management and dispute resolution between Allianz entities.
  • Drive finance transformation initiatives, process optimization programs, IT system rollouts, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring talent development and succession planning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across functions and regions.
  • Monitor operational performance, manage priorities, and ensure delivery of service excellence, customer satisfaction, and business objectives.

Profile

  • Master's degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Invoicing, Collections, Recovery, or Shared Services environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience, including leadership of teams of 15-20+ employees.
  • Strong finance and accounting knowledge, including collections, receivables management, recovery processes, and financial operations.
  • Experience with ERP platforms, General Ledger systems, and preferably SAP.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with proven experience leading multicultural and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, prioritize effectively, and deliver business-focused solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, innovation, process improvements, and technology adoption.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a proactive, customer-focused, collaborative mindset.
  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally (up to 15%).
