Mission

  • Lead the Global SCM Governance & Strategy, a.i. supply, Formulation, Filling, Packing (FFP), activities as well as Warehousing & Distribution to maximize value for the company.
  • Drive continuous improvements and new approaches to target Excellence in term of value, efficiency, competitiveness, reliability, flexibility & agility, pro-activity.

Key tasks & responsibilities

  • Lead and develop to its full potential the Global SCM Governance & Strategy team that covers Global a.i. Supply, Formulation, Filling, Packing (FFP), as well as Warehousing & Distribution.
  • Lead the design of the future global supply network (based on category strategies) and optimize it.
  • Manage the global Supply and Demand planning for AI’s and critical materials to ensure supply continuity. Define supply priorities in case of supply constraints or allocation related to global supply flows. Act as key global contact point with Bayer CS.
  • Define, implement globally together with the regional SCM organizations and Procurement the overall ES SCM Strategies and to optimize globally a.i. supply, Formulation, Filling, Packing (FFP) activities, Warehousing & Distribution as well as product flows, to maximize supply efficiency & reliability and value for the company.
  • Design and implement globally for ES, continuous Improvement strategies and new approaches targeting Excellence in term of competitiveness, reliability, flexibility, pro-activity, including global supply flexibilization .
  • Coordinate global and transversal optimizations (incl. global & regional flows of goods from supplier to our customers) and compliance with a focus on developing integrated E2E supply solutions that span across each business segments.
  • Orchestrate Global Supply activities balancing costs , profitability, supply reliability and service levels, through financial analysis to support decision making. Team up with Procurement to ensure a.i. manufacturing capacity fit business needs and new suppliers are identified to guarantee supply security and materials availability according to business, regulatory and quality needs. Define, negotiate and adjust production priorities to deliver superior customer experience and value for ES.

Qualifications & competencies

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree on Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent, MBA or Master in Supply Chain Management.
  • APICS certification is a plus.
  • 10+ years cumulative experience in Global Supply Chain Management with international experience and exposure (e.g., APAC and US).
  • Key competencies | Customer Focus, Strategic and Digital Mindset, Drives Results, Drives Vision & Purpose, Manages Ambiguity.
  • Excellent multicultural management and communication, organization, influencing & coaching skills.
  • Excellent command of Global SCM strategies & Governance in a similar field (Active Ingredients, Formulation & Filling, global Warehousing & Distribution).
  • Fluent in English other languages is a plus.
