Key tasks & responsibilities

  • In charge of non crop regulatory tasks in Europe (EU) and in few countries
  • Support registration and re-registration processes for new and existing products, i.e manage contact with EU and national risk assessors (RMS, EU Com, local authorities) in order to allow EU or countries under its responsibilities to meet its short-and long-term business objectives
  • Contribute to define and implement the regulatory strategy at national (country) and EU level, participate actively to the definition of the business strategy and advise product teams for all regulatory topics
  • Establish & maintain knowledge of current regulations and working relationships with key regulatory authorities. Provide early warning on regulatory trends, decisions and their possible impact and how to respond
  • Submit BPR product dossiers to authorities and working in conjunction with the Global Regulatory Manager and/or cluster Regulatory Manager and coordinate expert response to questions for achieving and renewing registrations

Profile

  • Degree in biological sciences with good knowledge of the agrochemical industry (min 3 years of experience)
  • Comprehensive experience of regulatory affairs including overall understanding of regulatory relevant scientific subjects (e.g. chemistry, toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental fate)
  • Ability to work in a multi-functional environment and to network with all relevant stakeholders
  • Global view, analytical and creative mind, ability to address and efficiently resolve complex situations
  • English is a must, additional languages appreciated
  • Effective/efficient organizer, planner and communicator with internal and external contacts, including regulatory agencies and consultants.
