Director of Operational Quality Assurance (m/f), Siegen

Tasks

• To implement Quality systems and tools which assure day to day control of the quality of all projects within start up and serial production across all Bogies Manufacturing sites.
• To establish & maintain cross functional processes which meet customer, regulatory and group requirements.
• To directly manage and develop technically competent and motivated site Quality teams in alignment with the BU Q strategy and the requirements of bids and projects.
• To work closely with internal and external customers and implement a Quality improvement strategy which satisfies the customer and business needs whilst driving best practice solutions.

Profile

• Education required: University level, technical degree. Broad experience in an Operational Quality environment (10 years) with a proven track record.
• Number of years of experience required : 10
• Technical skills/knowledge: Experience with mechanical engineering, welding, castings, non destructive testing and 3D measurement is advantageous
• Language ability : English and French Speaker, German helpful
• Traveling: Frequent travelling inside Europe. Occasional travelling outside Europe
