Creos Luxembourg S.A. is the operator of electricity and natural gas networks in Luxembourg. Nearly 900 employees currently serve the company.

Creos is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of high, medium, and low voltage electricity networks, as well as high, medium, and low pressure natural gas pipelines that it owns or has been entrusted to manage. The networks managed by Creos include more than 12,000 km of electricity lines and approximately 2,200 km of natural gas pipelines, serving over 317,000 electricity customers and around 50,000 natural gas customers.

Tasks

  • You define with the different IT stakeholders an effective data platform architecture to securely store and retrieve company data
  • You review proposed IT solutions with a focus on data related topics to ensure they adhere to the defined data strategy
  • You define guidelines and best practices to enable progressive adoption of the data architecture by IT and business stakeholders
  • You provide guidance and training to the implementation teams to enable data centricity
  • You elaborate a data strategy enabling a progressive evolution to achieve data centricity
  • You maintain a data repository that enables a precise and shared understanding of the data in their business context, and an understanding of the data transformation processes
  • You communicate about the data strategy evolutions
  • You act as design authority for data architecture and enable continuous improvement

Profile

  • You hold a University Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Sciences
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge in architecture and technologies of distributed systems for data science
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in multiple projects, assignments and/or responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and a high degree of self-motivation
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in English and French. The knowledge of German and/or Luxemburgish will be considered as an advantage
