Missions

Key contact for all customers - internal and external in the defined perimeter.

Ensure orders are received, credit-checked, matched to plan, and entered in SAP.

Contact freight forwarders, books shipping, prepares all necessary documentation and legalizations, issues invoices and follows up payment. contribute as well to the effectiveness and efficiency of the activity and reports monthly on customer satisfaction levels.

  • Ensure the full operation of the order fulfilment process and compulsory checks (completeness of sales orders, Trade compliance (PIC, Export Control etc. ) from receipt of the order, through negotiation of availability between Demand Planning and Customer to arranging all Export Documents , clearing credit issues, booking shipping, arranging invoicing / credit notes and tracking payment.
  • Together with the Regional business teams ensure that requirements for major tenders (specific requirements, documentation and Bank Guarantee) are met including the implementation of the risk coverage in line with the Regional policy and BES Credit Management.
  • Check letters of credit are compliant with the company’s policy and if necessary, negotiates with both customers and banks the required amendments.
  • Liaise with all internal (Bayer) and external agencies to ensure that orders arrive on time and in full, in the most cost efficient way and challenges the means of transport to get the best offer from the carriers
  • Manage the claims by recording the complaints, interfacing with the involved parties in order to provide a satisfactory answer to the customer and insuring the proper corrective actions in its area of responsibilities
  • Initiate payments of the agent’s or distributor’s commissions according to the contractual agreements and the accruals generated in the reimbursement tool
  • Maintain all databases necessary for the proper operation of the job: -(Customer Master Data, Shipping Data)
  • Ensure that a high level of technical expertise in the shipment of dangerous goods by air (IATA qualification) sea and road
  • Report on Customer Satisfaction level each month, using standard performance tracking measures and suggests potential improvements.
  • Review regularly all aspects of the job and suggests improvements that will contribute to the company's profitability targets.

Profile

  • 2 to 3 years of study in international commerce, plus 3 to 5 years
  • Experience in export management
  • IATA qualified for the export of dangerous goods by air
  • Fully fluent in English (written and oral) other languages are a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and take decisions within scope of responsibilities
  • Reliability, reactivity and Team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of SAP, and Microsoft Office tools
