Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Collating, modelling and estimating cost for studies, proposals and future projects.
  • Coordinating the analytic cost estimate with internal technical team and procurement team for suppliers.
  • Identifying and implementing areas for cost reduction opportunities. Contributeing to Design To Cost / Make or buy analysis and subcontractors cost analysis.
  • Contributing to risk analysis of proposals and define technical and financial provisions for risk.
  • Supporting the price elaboration of proposals including internal/suppliers cost consolidation, provision, financial margins and analysis…
  • Coordinating the costing process and reviews until final validation by management.
  • Leading the parametric estimating process in France in liaison with parametric experts within ENS Cost Engineering team.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to Finance or Business Administration degree or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Cost Engineering, Project Control or Business development.
  • Experience within the engineering or manufacturing environment, preferably within the Aerospace industry.
  • Good command of Excel.
  • Experience in the use of parametric estimating tools (e.g. PRICE, ACES) would be an advantage.
  • Negotiation level of French.
  • At least an advanced level of English.
  • An intermediate level of German/Spanish would be an asset.
  • Ability to work within an international team.
  • Very good communication skills.
