What we count on you for - Your mission

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will ensure the reliability of international sales administration processes, from reviewing commercial terms to managing orders from an administrative and contractual perspective. You will also help improve processes and support the team in resolving complex issues.

• You will manage and monitor orders for Germany and the UK, coordinating with customers, subsidiaries and production sites.
• You will analyse complex contracts, review deadlines, payment terms and associated risks, and alert sales teams to potential issues before contracts are signed.
• You will manage the administrative requirements of major contracts, including documentary credits, bank guarantees, staged invoicing and the monitoring of contractual milestones.
• You will support the administrative preparation of tenders in regulated business environments.
• You will ensure the reliability of international goods flows, taking into account intra-Community VAT rules, the reverse-charge mechanism, export VAT exemptions and country-specific tax requirements.
• You will manage cross-trade transactions and coordinate the parties involved, taking into account physical goods flows, financial flows and contractual terms.
• You will coordinate customs formalities, particularly for trade with the UK, in cooperation with freight forwarders and logistics service providers.
• You will identify potential export control requirements and help ensure compliance in transactions involving products subject to specific regulatory requirements.
• You will ensure the accuracy of contractual and sales data in the ERP system and contribute to improving commercial processes.
• You will provide technical support to sales administration colleagues across different sites, helping them resolve complex issues and share best practices.
• You will contribute to harmonising the group's sales administration procedures and propose improvements to streamline cooperation between sales teams, subsidiaries and production sites.

Why we want you on our team - your strengths

• Your experience: You have 8 to 12 years of solid experience in international sales administration or export within a demanding industrial environment, ideally involving technical equipment, complex industrial goods or comparable activities, or comparable experience.
• Your education: You have a qualification or degree in international trade, transport and logistics, or a legal field related to customs, combined with substantial hands-on experience.
• Your technical skills: You have a strong command of Incoterms 2020, documentary credits and international taxation. You understand cross-trade transactions, payment terms and contractual risks. You have solid experience with an industrial or commercial ERP system, such as SAP or Infor M3. Experience with a specific system is not mandatory. Experience in export controls or handling products subject to specific regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Your language skills: You are fluent in French, German and English. English is your main working language in day-to-day operations. You are comfortable communicating in an international business environment and understanding contracts and administrative documents in German.
• Your style & personality: You are organised, thorough and analytical. You can maintain perspective in complex situations, anticipate risks and develop appropriate solutions. Your ability to explain technical matters clearly and your strong team spirit enable you to share your expertise and support your colleagues.
