Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

  • Develop a simulation to determine the performance of our sensor system, based on various parameters such as sensor design and robot trajectories
  • Prepare and conduct experiments with industrial robots
  • Correlate the results of simulation and experiment
  • Support us with the automation of a test rig by developing python scripts

Required skills

  • Studying for a Bsc in electrical engineering, robotics, mechatronics or a related subject.
  • Some Practical experience with industrial robotics, preferably KUKA KRC2 or KRC4
  • Good Python and C++ skills (image processing with OpenCV and automation)
  • Prior experience with composite materials and processes (especially automated fibre placement) is an advantage
  • German language skills would be a plus.
