Join as a VIE Société Générale and more precisely the Trade Finance Department in Frankfurt.

The main objective of the Trade Finance Department is to offer Trade Finance products to major companies in Germany (charge of letters of credits and international guarantees).

This mission will be a good opportunity to learn a lot about Trade Finance, most of the time "by doing and working". You will benefit from the large experience of senior staff and work very closely with them, as part of the team.

You will work in relation with the relationship managers of the clients and with other product lines, and of course with clients

Your role

You will be in charge of:

• Checking of new deals in the handling tool of the product line,
• Preparation of the clients' applications to issue international guarantees and follow-up,
• Handling of collections and reimbursements,
• Requests of approval for export deals,
• Support of and contact with Back Offices,
• Answering of clients' requests and needs.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

• This VIE in Frankfurt is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
• You will receive an allowance to complete Ubifrance allowance.
• The VIE is a specific contract, under Ubifrance's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.

Your profile

• Graduate from a five years tertiary education with a major in economy, business, a specialization in international commerce / banking would be fine.
• You are fluent in German, English and French.
• You are familiar with IT tools, and have a very good command of Lotus, Word and Excel.
• Curious, adaptable, reactive, reliable, your quality and service orientation, your proficient client-driven approach as well as your deeply team spirit will be your main keys to succeed in your mission.
