Description of mission

Reporting to the Finance Director, your main responsibilties will be to:

1) IFRS-project: Support project manager of IFRs-project to

• Harmonize E&C-Lurgi accounting standards
• Embed IFRS as leading accounting standard
• Adjust company mappings and consolidation tool
• Main role : Coordinate in- and external resources; Proactively contribute to project success

2) Process Improvements: Support project managers (project parts: Order to cash, procure to pay, book to account, account to report)

• Contribute to process as-is-analysis
• Contribute to process to-be-analysis
• Coordinate and drive

3) Internal Controls

• Contribute to the elimination of process weaknesses identified during in- or external audits
• Continously scrutinize E&C-Lurgi-wide Segregation of Duties during reorganisation of the Group
• Define Incompatabilities etc

Profile

• Business Academic background at a Master's degree - familiarity with accounting, controlling, audit
• Key understandings in IFRS/IT, Internal business processes, Internal Organisation
• Energetic, intellectually open-minded, ambitious
• As primarily the accounting team has a number of senior people some robustness is required
• English is mandatory, German is big plus, French is helpful
