Your tasks

  • Definition of procurement strategy towards key suppliers, to leverage synergies across Airbus towards in terms of cost efficiency, strategic development, innovation and sustainable performance.
  • Managing high value and complex outsourced supplier agreements which are highly visible and business critical to the organisation
  • Leading Digital transformation project end-to-end from a Procurement perspectives, mobilization of the project team members and contributors
  • Preparation and delivery of Senior Management Meetings and Supplier Council between Airbus and suppliers top management
  • Identification & creation of synergies across commodities , especially maximum leverage in call for tenders, cost savings, performance recovery and claims
  • Preparation of internal Supplier Briefings for Airbus top management (Executives up to CEO for Airbus & Airbus divisions)
  • Negotiation of non-purchasing agreements with suppliers (NDA, cooperation / co-innovation agreements etc.)
  • Development of e-Solutions procurement strategies and the set-up of Airbus make-or-buy-policy (optimal combination of internal and external capabilities).
  • This role will involve some travels (4 days by month) internationally for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

  • Educated to Bac+5 level (or equivalent) in Business school or engineering graduate with good sales, pre-sales or procurement knowledge or a related discipline.
  • Professional skills:
  • Passionate, knowledgeable and articulate about Digital technologies
  • Excellent project leadership skills to motivate multi-functions teams
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • Business analytical skills (business case studies, TCO approach)
  • Demonstrated experience of gathering information from multiple stakeholders and analyzing supplier performance objectively
  • Proven history of Software as a Service (SaaS) integration project management and/or pre-sales activities
  • Proven history in complex business model such as "Buy to Sell" activities meaning contribution to set-up of new services offers
  • for Airbus Group end-customers (including monetization capability, royalty mechanism, gain/risk sharing,…)
  • Experience working in a start-up and understand the challenges which comes with it desirable
  • Proven experience in dealing with disruptive and complex business deals
  • Records of Business development
  • Strong adherence to ethics & compliance
  • Can do / make it happen attitude whilst ensuring highest performance standards
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to influence others, at all levels internally and externally
  • English: Advanced
  • French/German/Spanish desirable
